I am retired and spend most of my time helping charities on a voluntary basis.

I am the Chairman of Blood Cancer UK,Southend Branch. This began in 2000 when I rode in the Southend Bikeathon to raise money for the charity.

Another role that I enjoy is as a National Observer for Chelmsford Advanced Motorists (Institute of Advanced Motorists IAM RoadSmart).
